How it works
-
Select your images
Tap “Select images” or drop files anywhere on the page. HEIC, HEIF, WebP and AVIF all work — add a whole album at once if you like.
-
They convert on your device
Conversion starts automatically, one file at a time. Sideways iPhone photos are rotated upright, and your photo's date and camera info are carried into JPG files.
-
Download, one by one or all at once
Each finished photo gets its own Download button. Or grab the whole batch in a single ZIP.
Your files never leave your device
Most converters upload your photos to their server. This one doesn't — decoding and converting happen inside your browser tab, using a WebAssembly version of the libheif decoder. Nothing is sent anywhere, nothing is stored, and closing the tab clears everything.
You can check for yourself: open your browser's Network tab, convert a photo, and watch — zero uploads.
Questions
Why can't Windows open my iPhone photos?
Since iOS 11, iPhones save photos as HEIC — a newer, smaller format that much of the Windows world, online forms and older apps still can't read. Converting to JPG gives you the format everything accepts.
Is there a limit on how many images I can convert?
No count limit and no sign-up. Files are processed one at a time to keep memory use safe, so a very large photo (over about 50 MB) can be slow on a phone — the list warns you when a file is that big.
Does converting reduce my photo's quality?
JPG output is saved at high quality (92%), which is visually indistinguishable from the original for normal viewing and sharing. Choose PNG output if you need a fully lossless file.
How do I stop my iPhone saving HEIC?
On the iPhone: Settings → Camera → Formats → “Most Compatible”, and new photos will save as JPG. Photos already taken stay HEIC — convert those here.
